The role
This Multi-Skilled Engineer role exists to support day-to-day site operations and maintain reliable performance of plant and equipment. You’ll be part of a small, established engineering function where the focus is on keeping things running properly rather than firefighting constant change.

It suits an electrically biased engineer who wants a steady, long-term role with clear expectations, predictable shifts, and the trust to get on with the job.

What you’ll be doing

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs
• Completing planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
• Identifying repeat issues and implementing practical fixes
• Working safely and in line with engineering and site standards

What success looks like
Success in this role is about keeping equipment running reliably, reducing repeat breakdowns, and supporting a smooth-running operation. Consistency, attention to detail, and safe working practices are key.

What we’re looking for

• Recognised engineering qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working as an engineer
• Electrical bias with strong fault-finding capability
• Comfortable working a rotating shift pattern

Salary & location

• Up to £40,000
• On-site role based in Halesworth
• Permanent position
• Shift pattern: alternate weeks 5:30am-14:30pm / 13:15pm-22:15pm
