The Role

We’re recruiting for an experienced Machinist / Toolmaker to join a well-established manufacturing business in Halesworth. This is a hands-on role focused on producing and maintaining high-quality tooling to support ongoing production.

It would suit someone confident working independently, who takes pride in precision work and wants long-term stability with opportunities to develop further.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture new tooling using modern CNC machines, tools and equipment
• Carry out repairs, modifications and manufacture of ancillary equipment
• Maintain accurate records of servicing and repair work completed
• Support production by ensuring tooling is maintained to a high standard

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum two years’ experience as a Toolmaker and/or Machinist in a similar environment
• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and engineering drawings
• CAM programming experience desirable, but training can be provided
