Location: Stowmarket
Salary: £28,000 basic + overtime opportunities

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Weighbridge Operative to join a food manufacturing business we are working with. This is a varied role that combines weighbridge duties with laboratory support, stock control, and general site operations.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 4:00pm
• Early finish at 5:00pm on Thursdays
• Flexibility required to work Saturdays and Bank Holidays when needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating the weighbridge and accurately recording weights
• Creating delivery documentation and packs
• Supporting laboratory operations, including wheat testing
• Carrying out stock takes and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Assisting with general site duties as required

Requirements:

• Comfortable working at heights (role involves climbing ladders during stock takes)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Flexible and willing to support across different areas of the business
