This is a Product Development Manager role within a health and beauty business focused on driving product innovation and portfolio growth across skincare, cosmetics, personal care and wellness. You’ll take ownership of the full product lifecycle, from early concept through to launch, ensuring ranges are commercially strong, on-brand and compliant.

The role suits someone who understands both the creative and commercial sides of product development and is confident managing multiple launches at pace.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead product innovation by identifying market trends, category gaps and new product opportunities across health and beauty
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through to successful launch
  • Ensure all products meet brand, regulatory and commercial requirements
  • Analyse range performance and lead range reviews to optimise the portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong supplier and partner relationships, including pricing and contract negotiation
  • Own forecasting, margin management and commercial performance across your product portfolio
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver aligned, timely product launches
  • Support delivery of sales and growth targets through strong product strategy and execution
  • Lead and develop team members, providing clear direction and support

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in product development within health and beauty (skincare, cosmetics, personal care or wellness essential)
  • Strong understanding of consumer trends, ingredient innovation and packaging
  • Experience delivering product launches from concept to market
  • Commercially focused with strong experience in pricing, margin and supplier negotiation
  • Confident managing multiple projects and product launches at once
  • Strong analytical skills with solid Excel and PowerPoint capability
  • Clear communicator with the ability to influence internal teams and external partners
  • Previous people management experience
