Quality Auditor

Methwold | Permanent Night Shift| £36,944

We’re looking for a Quality Auditor to join a food manufacturing site on night shift in Methwold. You’ll be responsible for ensuring products, processes and hygiene standards consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements. The role suits someone confident working in a fast-paced production environment who can spot issues early and take action to keep standards on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine audits across products, processes, personnel and documentation to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Monitor production activity and stop work where food safety, hygiene or specification standards are not being met
• Record, investigate and support resolution of non-conformances, including escalation of key issues such as contamination risks
• Ensure cleaning and hygiene standards are maintained and signed off before production starts
• Support shift teams with coaching on quality systems, food safety and hygiene practices
• Communicate issues clearly across departments to ensure timely escalation and resolution
• Support continuous improvement activity and assist with data and sample collection for technical teams

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in food manufacturing within a production or quality-focused role
• Good working knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
• Strong understanding of hygiene and compliance expectations in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working night shifts
• Able to take ownership, work proactively and respond quickly to issues
• Strong team player with clear communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach
