This is a hands-on Production Planner role within a growing operation in Cambridge. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining short to medium-term plans while keeping production, stock, and logistics aligned. It suits someone organised, detail-focused, and confident coordinating across teams and third parties.

Key responsibilities

* Build and maintain a rolling production plan (up to 4 weeks)
* Manage production and stock transactions within JDE
* Coordinate third-party production and processing activity
* Create and maintain system Bills of Materials
* Plan and order packaging and pallets
* Arrange transport where required
* Handle day-to-day administration, including delivery documentation
* Communicate production schedules and changes to internal teams and customers
* Carry out toll milling and bran processing calculations
* Track and report KPI data across milling and packing performance
* Support operational targets including OEE and wider team objectives
* Provide cover for Production and Logistics Planning where needed

What we’re looking for

* Proven experience in production planning and scheduling
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Experience working with third-party logistics providers
* ERP system experience (JDE preferred)

Salary & benefits

* £32,000 – £35,000
* 22 days holiday, increasing annually to 25 days plus bank holidays
