Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Norwich

Salary: £20000 – £21000

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join us, to support the work of our Norwich office. This is a part-time role 3 days a week which is fully office based. The exact hours and working pattern can be discussed during the interview process.

Role Overview:

You will be heavily involved in setting up and running administrative procedures to enable the office to run efficiently.


​Key Responsibilities:

General Administration

  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages
  • Maintain and update office records, files, and databases
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documents as required

 

Office Management

  • Order and manage office supplies and equipment
  • Ensure the office is clean, safe, and presentable
  • Liaise with service providers, contractors, and suppliers

 

Staff & Management Support

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Support with onboarding, holiday tracking, and staff communications

 

Compliance & Confidentiality

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, GDPR, and health & safety regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Essential Skills and Experience:
  • A strong background in administration with solid experience to support this
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Capable of working independently and without close supervision
  • Capable of multi-tasking, working on own initiative and being pro-active
  • Ability to exercise complete discretion and confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
