Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Norfolk and Suffolk
Salary: £44,000 to £50,000 p/year

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer from the FMCG sector.

NVQ level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering is necessary for this role.

You will play a key role in the mechanical maintenance of equipment and machinery ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical maintenance on a range of FMCG machinery
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical breakdowns
• Preventative and reactive maintenance
• Proficiency in using various mechanical test equipment for diagnostics and safety.
• Strong focus on safety protocols and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

Experience:

• Pneumatics and Hydraulics
• Welding, machining, and turning for equipment repairs
• Gearbox and ratio knowledge
• Bearings, sprockets, chains, shafts, PVC and steel pipework
