Job Title: Payroll Lead UK & Ireland

Status: Inside IR35
Work Arrangement: Remote
Position Type: Full-Time

Overview:
The Payroll Lead is responsible for configuring a payroll module within a project, handling both internal and client-facing activities for successful implementation. Utilizing best practices and technical expertise, the role ensures the solution aligns with client requirements.

Department: Consulting Practice for the UK and Ireland

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design

  • Lead workshops as per methodology, ensuring all decisions are documented accurately.
  • Define and document the configuration of the payroll module, balancing business and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate a smooth transition to maintenance teams at project completion.
  • Support project resources in solution definition to address challenges during delivery.

Data Migration

  • Organize and assist in data mapping with client and implementation teams.
  • Ensure clients manage their data responsibilities, including cleansing and transformation.
  • Adhere to data security procedures and requirements throughout the process.

Integrations

  • Assist technical resources in defining integration requirements.
  • Support the delivery of integration workshops and complete necessary documentation.

Testing Activities

  • Conduct agreed testing procedures and ensure all identified issues are resolved prior to client testing.

Post-Deployment Activities

  • Provide support for post-deployment activities, including investigating and resolving tickets as needed.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of UK and Ireland payroll processes.
  • Strong understanding of SAP HCM Payroll.
  • Proven experience in HR service delivery and implementation of payroll products.
  • Experience with at least one end-to-end deployment project involving payroll systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Certification in payroll systems is desirable.
  • Ability to lead engaging customer meetings and workshops.
