Software Developer

Location: Norfolk (Hybrid / Remote – Norfolk based)

Cooper Lomaz are working with a growing and well-established technology-driven business in Norfolk who are looking to appoint a Software Developer with strong C# and database expertise.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative development team delivering robust, scalable applications that directly support business-critical operations. You will play a key role in developing new features, improving existing systems, and contributing to ongoing digital transformation projects.

The Role

• Design, develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET

• Work across backend systems and database layers

• Develop, optimise and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures and database structures

• Support system integrations and data workflows

• Contribute to software architecture discussions and technical improvements

• Assist with troubleshooting, debugging and performance optimisation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including stakeholders and end users

What We’re Looking For

• Commercial experience developing in C# / .NET

• Strong SQL and relational database skills (e.g. SQL Server)

• Experience working with large datasets and data-driven applications

• Understanding of software development best practices and version control

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Desirable experience may include:

• Experience with modern .NET frameworks

• Exposure to cloud platforms

• Experience with APIs and system integrations

• Front-end development experience (e.g. JavaScript frameworks)
