An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to take full ownership of projects from handover through to completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading multi-disciplinary teams, and is confident managing both technical and commercial project aspects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, from sales handover to final closeout
• Manage project scope, scheduling, cost control, and documentation
• Take accountability for financial performance, including forecasting and cash flow
• Identify and manage project risks, changes, and opportunities
• Handle client change requests and variation orders
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Support technical bids and commercial proposals
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers
• Oversee supplier performance and project timelines
• Ensure clear communication and reporting to senior management
• Maintain high standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Contribute to technical documentation, procedures, and reports

About You

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related discipline) or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar project engineering role
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with financial forecasting in a project environment
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work independently and manage high workloads effectively
• Strong communication and IT skills
• Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
