Salary: £28,000 per annum

Are you a skilled assembler with experience working across both mechanical and electronic components? We’re working with a leading manufacturing business in Cambridge who are looking to add an Assembly Operator to their growing team. The Role:
As an Assembly Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth production of mechanical and electronic components. Working as part of a cooperative production team, you’ll contribute to meeting daily targets, maintaining high quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical and electronic products using provided tools, instructions, and work orders
• Follow all health & safety and environmental protocols
• Work to standard operating procedures and encourage team compliance
• Keep production records and systems updated accurately
• Carry out tool checks and report any maintenance requirements
• Resolve part or process issues as they arise
• Support new product introductions and continuous improvement projects
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives
• Train to set up assembly equipment as required
• Work with flexibility across tasks as needed by the management team

Working Hours & Benefits:

• Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week
