Job Title: BI Engineer

Location: Stanford-le-Hope

Contract: 6-12 Month Fixed-Term Contract, Full-Time

Cooper Lomaz is delighted to be working with a long-standing client in Stanford-le-Hope to recruit a BI Engineer on a 6 to 12-month fixed-term basis. This is a key opportunity for an experienced business intelligence professional to contribute meaningful insights that support operational performance and strategic decision-making.

You’ll work closely with operational teams, gather and process business-critical data, and transform it into actionable insights using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimise data solutions using Microsoft Fabric technologies
• Work cross-functionally with development and operational teams to integrate BI tools into existing business systems
• Develop and manage scalable, cloud and hybrid data environments
• Create and maintain robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and reporting
• Build accurate and high-performing data models using Fabric’s Data Lakehouse
• Deliver clear, user-friendly dashboards and reports for both operational staff and senior leadership

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric services is essential
• Strong working knowledge of Power BI and data visualisation best practices
• Comfortable working with sensitive data and presenting insights to key business stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills

This is an onsite role based in Stanford-le-Hope, providing direct support to operational teams and ensuring rapid data turnaround.
