Electronic Design Engineer with Firmware experience

An excellent career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electronics Design & Firmware Engineer to join a company specialising in the design, development and manufacture of electronic solutions.

Cooper Lomaz are seeking candidates interested in microcontroller based embedded electronics solutions. As an Electronics Design and Firmware Engineer you will be part of a growing development team and will be responsible for the design of electronic products to meet customer specifications.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate relevant skills in electronic product design and is required to have the following:

• Design to manufacture
• Design for EMC compliance
• Industrial product design
• Firmware development using embedded C language
• Time management of demanding projects and deliverable milestones
• Able to work individually or as part of a team
• Good customer facing interpersonal skills

The following additional skills/abilities would be beneficial:

• A Degree or relevant experience in Electronic Design / Embedded firmware development using embedded microcontrollers
• Experience on designs with graphical touch displays/user interface
• PCB Design experience (Schematic capture and PCB Layout, ideally with Altium Designer)
• Precision analogue design
• RF design experience
• Analog / Digital electronics design proficiency
