Role: Hatchery Operative
Location: Ipswich
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 5:45am – 2:30pm, Friday: 5:45am – 12:00pm
Salary: £11.70 per hour

Are you passionate about animal care and looking for a hands-on role in the poultry industry? We are seeking a dedicated Hatchery Operative to join our Nationally renowned client’s team and contribute to the smooth, efficient operation of their hatchery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of hatchery operations, from egg production to the delivery of newly hatched ducks.
• Ensure the maintenance of a clean and hygienic work environment, strictly adhering to all bio-security systems.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records related to your tasks.
• Monitor and maintain health and safety equipment, reporting any issues to the manager.
• Communicate regularly with the Line Manager and site staff to ensure a consistent flow of information.
• Take responsibility for the health and welfare of the ducks and eggs in your care.
• Perform any other poultry farming-related tasks as required by the company.
