Job Title: Payroll Implementation Consultant Luxembourg
Location: Remote
Salary: €60,000 – €70,000
We’re delighted to be supporting a global HR & Payroll consultancy as they look to bolster their team in Luxembourg.
The client is creating their own IP Payroll Engine so knowledge on client implementations & Luxembourg payroll is a must!
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the client-facing functional lead, initiating and guiding functional requirements discussions.
- Collaborate with clients to gather payroll configuration details necessary to complete company workbooks.
- Identify discrepancies between client needs and project standards (products and processes).
- Work closely with the Product team to configure payroll solutions effectively.
- Validate payroll solutions and integrations during project testing cycles.
- Perform data validations within the payroll system.
- Coordinate defect resolution efforts with relevant teams.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer for ongoing application services to support payroll solution maintenance.
- Contribute to and maintain updates in the project plan.
- Support data mapping, data validations, and issue resolutions across systems.
- Assist in resolving integration issues.
- Provide support during user acceptance testing (UAT) and parallel testing phases.
- Define and implement workarounds for identified issues and coordinate resolutions.
- Oversee and support the transfer of knowledge to Delivery and Operational Payroll teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a functional consulting or analytical role within payroll outsourcing or payroll software.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the payroll processes and compliance regulations of the specified country (e.g., tax, legislation).
- Familiarity with the payroll implementation project lifecycle.
- Exceptional client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to articulate and document client requirements effectively.
- Creative and efficient problem-solving skills to address client issues or risks.
- Proficient stakeholder management with the ability to interact across various business levels.
- Capability to propose feasible, cost-effective alternative solutions.
- Proactive approach and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic, global environment.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
