Job Title: Pipe Fitter Welder Fabricator
Location: PE33 (occasional workshop work in Wisbech)
Salary: £17.00-£17.50 per hour

We are excited to offer a career opportunity with a busy and growing engineering business operating across Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas, recruiting for a Pipe Fitter Welder Fabricator on a contract basis.

Role Overview:

As a Pipe Fitter Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication, welding, and installation of mild and stainless steel components. This is a hands-on role offering variety between site-based and workshop-based work, with the potential for a permanent position after the initial contract period.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless and mild steel

• Fabricate and install pipework and structural components

• Work across various sites, based primarily in PE33

• Support fabrication work at a local workshop in Wisbech as required

Required Skills:

• Experience in MIG and TIG welding techniques

• Skilled in working with mild and stainless steel

• Confident interpreting technical drawings and working to specification

Desired Skills:

• Site installation and fabrication experience

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar pipe fitting/welding/fabrication role

Salary & Benefits:

• £17.00-£17.50/hour

• 13-week contract with potential to go permanent

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• 40 hours/week, with overtime potential

Working Location:

• Based at a site in PE33

• Occasional travel to a workshop facility in Wisbech
