Site Services Officer

An opportunity has arisen for a new Site Services Officer to join a sustainable packaging company based in Diss. As the Site Service Officer, you will be looking after the effluent plant and making sure that all site activities are run smoothly. We are looking for someone who has previous experience working with the effluent plant.

Wednesday to Friday – 8 hours a day

Saturday – 9 hours a day

Role & Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain effluent treatment plant equipment, including daily checks, equipment inspection, cleaning, sampling, and testing
• Monitor and control plant processes to ensure efficient operation
• Perform routine/ planned inspections and maintenance tasks
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
• Control of waste handling and disposal
• Basic fault finding, whilst recognising and escalating more serious faults
• Monitoring plant parameters against set standards, adjusting plant to meet these whilst reporting any deviation via pre-agreed escalation procedure
• Ensuring all records are accurate an up-to-date
• Moving of chemical IBC’s, controlling usage and restocking
• Report and lease with engineers when requires
• Daily housekeeping and upkeep of plant
• Ad hoc duties as required
