TIG Welder/Fabricator
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Salary: Up to £15.50 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Are you an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator looking to join a well-established engineering company? Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their Fabrication department and contribute to their reputation for high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• TIG weld stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium to a high standard while adhering to engineering drawings.
• Weld box section frames and assemblies with precision and tight tolerances.
• Ensure all manufactured parts conform to issued drawings and work instructions.
• Complete tasks within allocated budgeted hours.
• Assist in developing new products to meet customer requirements, including fabricating jigs and fixtures as needed.
• Perform general sheet metal fabrication and finishing tasks.

Skills and Attributes:

• Proven TIG welding ability with excellent attention to detail.
• Competent in completing documentation to aerospace standards (AS 9100) and following written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to interpret and follow customer drawings accurately.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong teamwork ethic and good communication skills.
